This project was born from a personal passion for travel, meaningful experiences, and helping visitors discover Malta through a local perspective.
This project was born from a personal passion for travel and meaningful experiences.
Whenever I travel, I love planning everything ahead of time — researching destinations, exploring websites, reading guides, and searching for recommendations. But no matter how much information I found online, I always felt that something was missing: the local side of the destination.
The best experiences I’ve ever had while traveling usually came from meeting locals, hearing their recommendations, discovering places that aren’t heavily advertised, and experiencing the destination in a more authentic way. And I realized that this local insight is something travellers need before the planning even begins.
That’s why I created this experience — to give visitors the opportunity to discover Malta through a local perspective.
My love for Malta is very real. Even though the islands continue to grow and change, there are still so many beautiful places, hidden corners, traditions, and moments that make Malta special. Sometimes I find myself wanting to see Malta through the eyes of a tourist again — to appreciate the beauty that locals can sometimes overlook in everyday life.
At the same time, I want travellers to experience Malta through the eyes of a local.
One of my favorite things about local life here is the balance we have. Life can be busy and fast-paced, but we still make time to relax, enjoy the sea, go out with friends and family, socialize, and appreciate the small moments.
And because Malta is such a small island, you’re never too far away from your next beach, sunset, restaurant, or hidden spot waiting to be discovered.
Every experience is carefully planned to help travellers enjoy Malta in a more personal, relaxed, and authentic way — beyond the typical tourist experience.
Recommendations are shaped by lived-in knowledge of Malta’s hidden corners, everyday rhythms, culture, sea, food, and social life.
The aim is to help travellers experience Malta with balance: enough structure to feel confident and enough space to enjoy the small moments.
Each plan is carefully considered so visitors can move beyond the typical tourist experience and discover the islands in a more meaningful way.
Personalised Malta planning shaped around your travel style, preferred pace, budget, and the local side of the islands visitors often miss.
Use the questionnaire to share your dates, interests, pace, and travel priorities. Ndùr Malta turns those details into a more personal way to discover Malta and Gozo.
